Position Summary

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting dealership operations and team success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspection services accurately and efficiently.
  • Assess and identify any additional vehicle service needs during inspections.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards and communicate any concerns to management promptly.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are clean and cared for during servicing.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Support other employees by sharing knowledge and promoting teamwork.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and ethical behavior at all times.
  • Follow all dealership policies and management requests.

Work Hours

This is a full-time role. Specific hours will be communicated during the hiring process.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets company policy requirements.
  • Local state inspection license is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to noise, dust, odors, chemicals, and fumes.
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 100 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching required.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely.
