Job Overview

The Receptionist plays a critical role in upholding the legal, financial, and ethical standards of the dealership. This position involves welcoming customers and visitors, managing incoming calls, and assisting with accurate record-keeping and administrative support.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Protect the dealership's legal, financial, and moral well-being.
  • Greet customers and answer phone calls promptly and professionally to create a positive first impression.
  • File receipts and permits accurately to maintain organized and accessible records.
  • Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge and encouraging efficient business operations.
  • Ensure maximum productivity while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Facilitate customer flow by directing visitors to appropriate departments.
  • Review money receipts and permits to ensure consistent tracking.
  • Maintain punctuality and a reliable work schedule.
  • Adhere to management directives and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Operate with integrity and maintain the highest ethical standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through a neat and safe work environment.
  • Address and help resolve customer complaints and service adjustments.

Work Environment

This role is based in a dealership administrative setting which requires welcoming customers and guests in person. The employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions and is expected to perform duties involving sitting, standing, talking, hearing, and moving around the facility.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of reception experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience.
  • Strong professional communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an administrative setting with face-to-face customer interaction.
  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, and move around the facility regularly.
  • Capability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Required vision abilities include adjusting focus.
  • Safe operation of equipment and materials.
